
The emblematic restaurant “Mladost” in Burgas will welcome its guests in a refined atmosphere thanks to the Burgas construction company “Mega Gips” EOOD.
The restaurant is part of the renovated training and production complex of the Vocational School of Tourism “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov ”, which the Municipality of Burgas completely reconstructed under the project“ Improving the quality of vocational education through modernization of the educational infrastructure in six vocational high schools in the city of Burgas”, procedure “Support for vocational schools in the Republic of Bulgaria ”.
The modern campus has a classic restaurant with a capacity of 116 seats, an outdoor terrace with 60 seats and a fast food restaurant for 70 visitors. Special access for people with disabilities is provided. LED lighting is installed in the halls, air conditioning systems maintain a comfortable temperature in the dining rooms.
In the renovated campus is installed a hot water system, which is powered by 5 solar panels located on the roof of the building. The kitchens are equipped with new modern appliances and tools, thanks to which all kinds of dishes and recipes may be prepared.
One of the novelties in the training and production complex is the conference hall with a capacity for 60 people. It is equipped with a large screen and various systems that allow seminars and presentations.
1000 children from the Vocational School of Tourism “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”– Burgas will be educated in the renovated campus. In the practical classes they will learn from their teachers the intricacies of restaurant and cooking.
At the opening of the complex, high school graduates demonstrated their skills and surprised the guests with interesting and sophisticated dishes.
“This campus will train highly competitive staff for business and tourism in the Burgas region and Bulgaria. Culinary and quality food will give us a chance to go beyond the summer tourist season and expand the scale of tourism in our region. I am convinced that this campus will attract more children who will want to enrol in the Vocational School of Tourism, because it has the highest standard of education” said Mayor Dimitar Nikolov.

The project is a message that the Municipality of Burgas invests in vocational education. Through it, we are looking for a successful approach in the training and realization of our graduates” said the principal of VST Silvia Pehlivanova.
