The construction of social housing and a Crisis Centre on its ground floor in zone D of the largest complex in Burgas “Meden Rudnik” is again on the agenda. The reason is the participation of the municipality in the program “Implementation of integrated plans for urban rehabilitation and development 2014-2020”. Part of the amount will be provided as a grant, but additional co-financing of over BGN 870 thousand is needed.
An investment project has already been prepared, as it envisages construction of a multi-family residential building with five sections /4 two-storey and one three-storey/ and a capacity of 47 apartments and a Crisis Centre on two levels in one of the block sections of the residential building with a capacity of 15 places. The residential building will provide accommodation for about 120 representatives of the target group – parents with children and people at risk of poverty.
The initial intention was for the Crisis Centre to be on the ground in the housing estate of “Vazrazhdane”.
It is now proposed that it be located on the ground floor of a multi-family residential building designated for the construction of social housing. The changes made required the revision of the approved technical investment project for the construction of social housing in zone D of the housing estate of “Meden Rudnik”.
